Snow, Snow, and More Snow

Well...

Here in Philly, we've been off since last Tuesday because we've had over 61 inches of snow.  The kids and the dog are loving it.  It was fun the first 29 inches but I'm ready for Spring.  I've been working on my two Peru Classes, Assessment and Using the Internet.  I enjoy the internet class, but lately I've had trouble using the presentation applications.  The main problem may be my lack of creativity.  I've visited many of my classmates sites and some of them are really good.  I think I need a tutor....haha.  Time for the homestretch....last 3 weeks.

Prezi Presentation Frustration Anyone?

Well...

Needless to say, I was very frustrated last week because I couldn't get my Prezi Presentation to work properly.  I spent roughly 2 hours and it still isn't working properly.  To make matters worse, I looked into the forums and everyone was having issues....still doesn't account for a block of time I had available to finish this part of my curriculum project.  Oh well I guess....I'm going to try the Google Site Presentation and see how that works.

Parents- Have your sons or daughters play this "Internet Safety Game"

I'm really interested in using the internet for applications to make our lives easier.  For the most part, it has made my life easier.  However, from time to time, we've all run across a redirect or a solicitation from someone on the internet whether through MySpace or Facebook or email that has wreaked havoc on our computer and virus protection.
